Showtec "Orbit One" LED moving head

Showtec have just unveiled their new LED moving head - the Orbit One.

The Orbit One is the first LED moving head by Showtec. It is a powerful moving head which is equipped with 36 1W LED's, offering an enormous light output.

The RGB color mixing provides an unlimited selection of colours to the user. It has a precise and accurate 16 bit movement as well as auto-correction on pan and tilt movement.

This fixture is certainly an appealing alternative to the traditional moving wash - with lower power consumption, a wider beam angle (50 degrees) and no need for expensive lamp replacement. Surely this has to be a serious contender for any new or upgraded lighting system??

DAP Audio Mini Line Array

DAP Audio have just unveiled their new compact line array system. The LT-516 mini array top cab is a 2-way 2x5" + 1x1" passive wide-dispersion box, which is designed to be used in conjunction with the LB-184 1x18" subwoofer.

The six box system is designed to cover larger rooms, and will cover an area of up to 40m by 40m. The outstanding price point and undoubted quality of this system is sure to make it a hit!
